I wholeheartedly believe it. Been caught out there one too many times. I am currently working from an old laptop that I am barely keeping alive. It rests on my desktop that does not work anymore due to trojan viruses and phishing pages. I do not know how else to make companies more responsible unless they are held more accountable. Trust me I wish I can start a couple of businesses that can fill this void, like a "Geek Squad" linked with the BBB(Better Business Bureau). One can dream. As for now swamped with working two jobs that are not going anywhere.

All for using cash on that one if someone can get your information when they don't clean the hard drive. 

Hi, to everyone.  Today I watched a show on TV and which I did not realize that everytime you swipe your bank card or credit card the information is stored on these machines.  Every night the store managers or employees after closing are suppose to wipe the hard drive clean in this way all the information cant be stolen.  I just wanted to let you know considering some don't do this.  A thief can come in and steal the hard drive and there goes all our personal information.  I just want everyone to be aware of this when using your cards.  I did not know this and I'm so glad I saw that show.  I think I will be using more cash.  I went to a corner store  and asked them if they wipe the hard drive clean and they told me yes.  Well at least I know at that corner store I am safe on using the interac.
